How to Bake or Broil Chicken Wings

Good chicken taste and nice method for those watching their calories. Can be done with skin removed for even less fat (but unfortunately, less taste.)

This preparation works well for most sauces, but is best for sticky or hot sauces.

Chicken Wings – Baked or Broiled

Ingredients (other than wings)

  • 1/2 cup Cooking Oil (This should be enough to grill about a dozen wings. Multiply as needed.)

Directions

  1. Pour oil into a large bowl.
  2. Add wings to bowl and toss to fully coat with oil.
  3. Set oven to 350°F if baking or to broil.
  4. Place wings on broiling rack or cookie sheet.
  5. Place wings into oven.
  6. Bake or broil for 15 to 20 minutes, checking frequently for burning. Turn 1/2 way through or as needed.
  7. Remove the wings to a paper towel covered plate.
