Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings Recipe
Garlic Chicken Wing appetizers appear on many restaurant and bar menus. There is a good reason – They are delicious. But our Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings are even better. And they are super-easy to make.
Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings
Famed newsman and longtime 60 Minutes host, Morley Safer, once said,
“You can never have enough garlic. With enough garlic, you can eat The New York Times.”
Be sure to remember this when you are putting the 3 heads of garlic into the blender for this recipe. 😉
But even though garlic is so very delicious and we couldn’t imagine cooking – or life, for that matter – without it, I think garlic tastes even better paired with something savory and high in umami. That’s why it tastes so good in spaghetti sauce. And on garlic bread. And stuffed mushrooms. You don’t want garlic to carry the whole dish by itself, it’s bold flavor should enhance the other, more earthy, flavors.
That’s why I love these Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings. Parmesan cheese is one of the most concentrated sources of earthy umami in the food world. When I mixed the garlic and Parmesan together, both of them – and the wings! – tasted even better.
Try them and you will see.
