Asian Hot Wings
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds Chicken Wings
Marinade
- 1/2 cup Sriracha Sauce
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons fresh Ginger, finely chopped
- 2 Spring Onions, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons Cornflour
- 1/2 cup Lime Juice
To Serve
- Sesame Seeds
- Sprinkle of chopped Spring Onions.
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade apart from the cornflour together. Save a couple of spoons of the spring onions for garnishing.
- Put the chicken wings in a large bowl.
- Pour 1/2 of the marinade over the top.
- Place, covered, in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight. Store remaining marinade in refrigerator also.
- When ready, place wings in a pressure cooker, with a 1/4 cup water and set to the soup function for 10 minutes.
- Carefully release pressure before opening lid. Take wings out using a tong and place on a baking tray lined with foil.
- Mix cornflour into the remaining marinade and drizzle over the top, making sure they are all covered.
- Place tray under a hot grill or broiler and cook for another 10 – 15 minutes turning a few times. This crisps up the wings and makes the sauce really sticky.
- Finish by sprinkling on some sesame seeds and the leftover spring onions.
